BIO: My name is Cookie and all of my puppies have found their furever home; now I am looking for someone to make me theirs. I haven’t been very lucky in finding my furever home because I have anxiety issues and people are afraid of that. I am very attached to my foster mom and I also like my foster dad too but it took me awhile to get to know him. I do have a tendancy to be protective and have shown some aggression towards new men that I haven't met before. It takes me longer to warm up to men than women. I think that I would do really well in a home with a single woman because of my fear of men. I would be a wonderful companion to someone who is retired or home during the day. 

I do love to snuggle in bed at night and keep you warm in the winter. I am very sweet and a great lap dog. I am also very beautiful and I have the coolest ears. Everyone loves my ears and I take awesome pictures so everyone thinks I’m adorable; which they would be right; because I am. Please give me a chance to be your companion. I promise that my anxiety is manageable if you just spend time with me and love me.

If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
