Furever Dachshund Rescue is a non-profit organization that was created to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abandoned, neglected and stray dachshunds.
**RESIDENTS IN THE STATE OF MASSACHUSETTS-- At this time we are waiting for approval of a quarantine location. The state of Massachusetts is the only state that requires this type of quarantine. If you want to adopt, there will be a large waiting period. We encourage you to look at other rescues that may be able to adopt to you in a shorter amount of time.

Special Need Cases!
Furever Dachshund Rescue rescued Maggie from Charleston Animal Shelter. She is a beautiful 9 year old doxie girl who came to us with a terrible yeast infection. The vet told us this was caused by her constantly being exposed to a moist environment, suggesting she most likely lived outside. Her nails were so overgrown, they curled under and her teeth need immediate medical attention. We have already set up an appointment for her on Friday to get a dental and spayed! Furever Friends Program
Our entire organization is dedicated to helping as many needy animals as possible and although we have chosen to be a breed specific rescue, we have also decided to extend ourselves to help otheres with our new Furever Friends Program!
