BIO:

Buddy is a sweet little boy who will completely steal your heart, once you get to know him!! He loves his PERSON!! He is the only dachshund I have ever had (and that's saying a lot!) that will come up to you for no reason except to put his nose about an inch from your nose, give you a little kiss, and just "breathe your air" for just a minute, get a hug, and then go back to what he was doing. He is a little overweight but we are working on that. He has an unfair advantage with those short legs!! Buddy does not need to be in a home with small children. He does snap and will bite if he feels trapped or cornered in any way. He does not like to be forced to do things. He loves his kennel. He is good about potty training but you do have to pay attention and keep him on a routine. When you get up in the morning, you HAVE to take him outside as soon as both your feet hit the floor. He will not wait so you have to let him have his turn first! He does well around my other dogs and I think he would do well with just about any other dog as long as they don't try to challenge him. He is very hesitant at first and you will definitely know when he is sad. Just give him a little time and once you win him over, he is very loyal and dedicated.

Please give Buddy the furever home he deserves by filling out an adoption application today!
