BIO:

Sugar was dropped off to a kill shelter in AR because her owner had died.   Sugar was not spayed and it appears she has had puppies in the past. Sugar was very thin.  She has some bad teeth, and this attributed to her low weight.  She will soon have a dental and be spayed.  She is a very loving girl and otherwise quite healthy. 

Sugar is super smart, we have a doggie door and she learned to use it the first day.  She is crated at night, and taken straight out in the am.  She is using the doggie door the rest of the day.

She is a couch baby, used to plenty of hugs and a warm lap!  Sugar has beautiful petite features, if you are looking for a special sweet baby to love… well Sugar is waiting for YOU!  Please give Sugar the furever home she deserves by filling out an adoption application today.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
