BIO:

Beau (or Boo) has been a foster dog for a long time and deserves a great home of his own.  When he came into rescue, he had been out on his own for a long time and was a little difficult.  He is finally doing very well and needs a special home that will take time to get to know him and help him feel loved and never leave him again.  
Beau would not do well as an apartment dog because he likes to bark at strange noises (like a dachshund!).  He is a character and loves to do his own thing, especially enjoying running the yard and defending his yard from the intruders (squirrels and rabbits).    
Beau thinks he is the center of his universe and needs a home to call his own.  He does well with other dogs, male or female.  He would do best in a home where he can be the leader of the pack that will run and play with him. Beau seems to prefer men to women to a home with a guy would be ideal for him.  Please give him a furever home to call his own!
