BIO:

Gracie is a 10 year old young lady who enjoys life. Even though Gracie is blind she still can see shadows and gets around great.  She loves exploring the outside world and her squeakier toys. If she hears the squeaky she comes looking. Gracie would do best with an older couple that have no children that visit. See, Gracie loves her squeaky toys and does not like to share them and will nip.  Gracie is fastest at de-stuffing toys and really enjoys it. She loves to be cuddled and treated like a princess. Before handling Gracie you need to let her know your there by talking to her. If you startle her she will gt scared and my try to nip you. Gracie otherwise is a pretty laid back girl. If you have room in your heart and home for an older girl please consider Gracie. I promise you, she will love you back.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law. Thank you for supporting a dachshund in need.
