Just a short note to let you know that Chloe is doing great! We absolutely love her! She is such a sweet, calm girl! I am including some photos of her for you to see. I am so glad that we found her! I will keep sending you photos and updates if you would like. Thanks again for being her foster mom! Elsie and Ray Lavoie

Chappy - SC

Good Morning,

I was just sorting pictures and found this sweet one of both our boys.  The one on the right is Oliver (Chappy) we adopted from you..  He's doing well..He and Jack are the best of buddies..We are a happy family!!! Thanks again for our boy!! Laurel Norwood.

Carlee - SC

Dear Friends,
Although it has been only three weeks, it feels like Carlee has been a part of our family forever. Thank you all for helping us bring her home. She makes each day special. Carlee loves long walks and hunting many New York squirrels!
Love,
Kenny, Genie, Corinne, Hope, and Carlee

Cooper - NJ

Cooper is loving his home!  He wakes up early to go walking with his momma and he loves to smell everything along the way and hear all the new sounds in his neighborhood.  He loves sitting in the sunroom to tan himself and enjoys getting cozy in the kitchen to hang out while momma and poppa make dinner.  In the evenings, it's time for snuggling and catching up on the day and in the evening Cooper get's a boys' walk with just his poppa.
Thank you so much to FDR for making us so happy and allowing us to adopt the sweetest, best dog ever. We love Cooper so much, he makes us laugh and we love loving him!!!

Cricket 2 - RI

Here's our Cricket, right at home. Her former foster and now furever mom, JoAnne sends this happy update:
Cricket would need a special home because she had spinal surgery and most likely would need more care and attention than a "normal" dog.
I saw her picture and read her story and I could not say no. After a couple of conversations with my husband, we took Cricket.
Well, this angel didn't take long to "wiggle" her way into our hearts and after only two weeks, Micki (our first and the alpha of the pack) engaged Cricket in play; thereby accepting her into the pack. I was so excited. We all fell in love with this little girl that, thanks to Furever Dachshund Rescue, received the care she needed so that she could live her life. Regardless of her infirmities, she is such a happy girl. She makes us laugh everyday and gets so excited when "Daddy" gets home from work....you can't help but love her. Our other dogs took to her quickly as well....which made things so much easier. We knew we couldn't let her go anywhere. Her personality is one of happiness, trust, and love. We are so blessed to have Cricket and our other babies. Thank you FDR for giving us the opportunity to not only bring Cricket into our home, but to allow us to be her "furever" family. We know how important extended families are and we are inviting anyone who has fallen in love with this little girl along her path to visit. I feel blessed to be a foster mom and blessed to be a "furever" mom.
