BIO:

Simon is a beautiful, red dachshund. He is very affectionate and snuggly but also extremely playful; he is still 100% puppy! You may remember him from this year’s Puppy Bowl IX on Animal Planet; was one of their start participants! Simon has been raised around dogs of all sizes but sometimes he is intimidated by bigger dogs and will take some time to get comfortable around them. Because he is a puppy he has a high level of energy and extreme curiosity. Simon loves squeaky toys and playing chase throughout the house.

Simon's ideal home is without young children and with a companion dachshund that he can play with. He would do best with a young dachshund playmate that can keep up with his energy level. A fenced yard is best for Simon because that is what he is used to and he does know how to use a doggy door. He does not like young children and would do best in a home with people who are dachshund savvy.

Simon is a bit shy and timid with people that he just meets and usually takes his time warming up to people but once he decides that he likes you then he will be faithful forever.Simon is house trained and crate trained but may have an occasional accident until he learns his new routine. Because Simon is still a puppy he will need to be allowed to go outside and potty more often than an adult dog. He will also need ample toys for chewing.
