BIO:

Savannah is a sweet girl who is very laid back. She enjoys the company of other other dogs, lounging around , going for a short walks and napping. Savannahs owner died and surrendered her to one of our shelters ( I foster small senior dogs for the shelter). She was a whopping 17 pounds when she arrived in October and has been with me since then, her current weight is 10 pounds). As her teeth where in horrible shape, she had dental care and tooth extractions as well. She is currently on wet food, that is lower in calories. Soon she will be switched to a maintenance food to keep her weight level. Savannah is crate trained, and is sharing the crate with another small, senior dog when I leave the house during the day. At night she sleeps on the couch. We have steps for our dauchshunds, but she does not know how to use them. I believe that she would LOVE to sleep in the bed with us, but we already have two doxies with us !!! She likes sniffing the grass, but her favorite activity is laying close to us, with her head touching us and being loved on. A calm household , another dog, close in age to her and lots of love would suit Savannah just fine.
