Hi! I’m Bauer. I am a 6yr old male longhaired Dachshund who is looking for my furever home!  I am very gentle and laid back and love lots of attention. I have no problem rolling over on my back and asking you for a good ole belly rub! I know not to climb the stairs and go to my bed at night like a good boy.  I am friendly and lively, I like to take walks and play and just plain be around people. I am very good company, like to follow my foster fur-sister’s lead, play with the kids and will shower you with love and hearty tail wags!  I haven’t had to stay in a kennel very much so I am not sure how would like to be in a kennel.  I would love to have a furever home! We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
