BIO:
Shelby was rescued from a high kill shelter in South Carolina. She lived outside with only other dogs and did not have human contact. Due to that fact, Shelby is very timid and scared of a lot of things. She has come a long way in the months she has been in her foster home but would need a very special home that could continue to make her feel comfortable in her environment. Shelby loves other dogs and even cats. She loves to play with her other fursiblings – both cats and dogs!! Once Shelby warms up to a family she will love you but it will take time and patience. Shelby will do best in a low key home without lots of people in and out although if people do visit she is friendly. She MUST go to a home with other dogs – the more, the better!!! Shelby is still trying to learn leash walking but with her being so timid she can only be adopted to a home with a fenced in yard.
Shelby deserves to have a home of her. A place that she will grow and learn that everyone loves her and that she doesn’t have to be scared. Please consider giving Shelby her furever home by filling out an adoption application today.
