BIO:

I was rescued from a shelter in AL.  I came to my foster home with little knowledge of how to share. Here is the first couple of days in my new foster home:
Day One:  Get to know my house mates and foster dad CHECK - everyone was friendly and helpful with my adjustment
Day Two:  started to play with housemates and foster dad CHECK - I love to play and get to know others
Day Three:  dog park with housemates and foster dad CHECK - went to Rabbit Hill dog park and had an awesome day getting to know new dogs, starting to come out of my shell
Day Four:  I am now licking my foster dad as much as possible, I share space on the couch and bed.  I have energy but not over the top so I can adjust to all environments
I would do well with any size family.  I am quick to trust so I need a home that wants me and will not change their mind.  I am working on the house training and with a schedule of every 2-3 hours I do great.  I am 100% crate trained.  I love my daddy’s lap and I am good with sharing that space.  Can you offer me a furever home?

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
