BIO:

Maggie was rescued from a high kill shelter in South Carolina.  She came in with very long nails and a yeast infection and had not been spayed.  When she went to the vet they stated she had been living in a moist area – maybe outside – how sad!  She had to have a dental and had to have several teeth removed but you would never know.  She is so sweet and loving. She loves her bed to lay in during the day and then when you come home she loves to meet you at the door.  Maggie will make a great addition to any home!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
