BIO:

Charlea is an adorable 8 year old dog that can stop traffic when she walks down the street. She is a small dachshund but appears larger than she is because of her fluffy, thick, black fur. Charlea loves belly rubs and always responds enthusiastically by rolling on her back with her paws in the air. She is a beautiful long hair that is fine sleeping in her own bed at night or curled up at the end of yours. Charlea enjoys chewing Nyla bones, playing with a variety of toys, and long sessions of belly rubs. She is not a high energy dog and would be fine as an only dog and a companion for a senior citizen or an elderly couple. Charlea has many facial expressions which include her raising her ears when you call her name. She is being spayed and vaccinated on April 4^th.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
