Happy is the perfect name for this energetic little boy. He is extremely playful and enjoys his toy box very much. Watch your socks though, if finds one on the floor he may just hide it in his toy box. Happy likes the companionship of another dog because he is very social. When left alone without a canine companion he tends to get a touch of separation anxiety.  Happy will be neutered and current on his vaccines before he is adopted by his new family. He is very faithful and he is a wonderful watch dog. Happy is a little guy with a huge personality and would do well in an active home. He loves to go for walks and run around in the yard. Happy is FDR’s official first foster and we would love to find him his last happily- ever-after forever home. Could you be the perfect home for Happy?

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
