BIO:

My name is Cricket. You may have read about me lately because I have become quite famous! My rescue recently raised money for me so that I could have surgery for my chronic disc problem in my back. Now I have been fixed up and I feel so much better. I am even happier than I was before. I love people, dogs, and lots of attention and if I had the chance I would run around like a nut all the time! My foster mom doesn’t allow that right now because I am still healing but in a couple more weeks I will be ready for my new home where I can run around and play. I go back to my surgeon this week so he can give me the thumbs up, yeah!
I am a very well behaved and active girl. I love to snuggle also. I would do well in almost any home and I get along great with young kids but I need to be handled with care so that my back doesn’t get hurt again. I also need a family that will have some patience with me as I am still learning the potty thing and I occasionally still have accidents. I am crate trained though. Please consider adopting me into your family!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
